This should be a fairly short meeting followed by seasonal social time. The prime business of the meeting is to receive the annual accounts and to elect committee officers. Gary Sleigh has retired from CAMRA for personal reasons leaving a big pair of boots to be filled in the space of the Branch Secretary. There are other unfilled posts as well (see Branch Contacts) which offer opportunities to become involved in supporting the local campaigning activities of CAMRA.

It is not what is (or is not) done in the branch meetings which makes a difference, but what is done in between times when visiting pubs, breweries or indeed choosing which beers to drink at home. Individual actions can make profound differences - such as deciding drink only locally brewed beers!
